Field Trip!


Hey CF Endurance Peeps, it's time for another field trip so fill up your water bottle and have Mom or Dad sign your permission slip. We're going to have our regular Thursday class tomorrow near Diversey Harbor, right behind North Pond restaurant. We'll meet at the statue/monument that is directly behind North Pond on the top of the hill at 6:30pm. We'll be doing hill work and hopefully some barefoot running. Parking is tough in that area but there are places to rack your bike and the 151 stops nearby. If you have questions email me at mike@crossfitchicago.com or Erin at erin@crossfitchicago.com

  4. That was quite the quad burner. Need to remember to do a bunch of those before next snowboarding trip.

  5. Abbey thanks for showing me your course, I wish I had known it when I lived in the area.

    Billy we did a 12 minute AMLAP (Laps) going from the curb at the bottom of the hill east of the monument (behind North Pond) to the top of the hill, do three burpees, then run down the hill on the west side, cross the path and touch the fence of the playground. Then back up the hill, three burpees and back down to the starting line, that's one lap. The range was around 7-9 laps for the workout.

    Maybe even better than the workout was the Sultan's Market dinner and oversized Budweisers Meat Baby and I took down.
