Metrodash - Thor's Cup Info - Will YOU represent CFC?

3 + Hours Before or After Strength and Conditioning WOD


Run Swim Bike C2


3 Rounds:

1000m Row (4 minute Run/Swim/Bike)

12 Push Ups

6 Goblet Squats

3 Burpees


Rest exactly 2 minutes before starting each round



ATTENTION:


For those of you that have already signed up or are thinking about signing up for the Metrodash on July 17th, we are looking for the Top Athletes in the box to represent CrossFit Chicago in the "Thor's Cup" competition. Continue to sign up as individuals and teams. The Thor's Cup competition is separate from the regular schedule of heats, so you will be able to compete in both.


In order to determine who will represent our Box, we are having a little one day competition. The top Female and top Male will be asked to represent CrossFit Chicago during this specific heat. The challenge WOD will be held on the same day as the start to the Fran/Paleo Challenge. Since these athletes will be representing our box, you should be able to endure Fran + a little workout that we will make up for you to complete. More details to come on the actual workout, but here is what we are releasing about the entire challenge on Saturday, May 14th thus far:


Part 1 of the WOD:

Fran

21-15-9

Pull Ups and Thrusters


Rest :30 Minutes


Part 2 of the WOD:

TBD

(Running WOD with obstacles to simulate)


Part 3 of the WOD:

Barbeque!


We will also be stacking a couple of teams from the top finishers from this challenge to hopefully try and take home our second GOLD medal in a major CrossFit/Endurance type event.
