Thank you to all of those who have served and continue to serve our country. As a group, the Endurance class has decided to conquer "Jerry" this afternoon.
Solid workout tonight with a great group! 19:59 - First mile was 5:37, started the row around 6:00. Row was 7:52. Out the door around 14:00
Holly start out using the normal 400m route on Elston but continue to Cortland. Head east on Cortland until you hit Southport, which is just a short way after the bridge. I went about 10-15yds past the Southport traffic light and then turned around and come back.
I somehow managed to get 26:09. It felt much slower because I ran really slow during the last mile. Had back/hip issues that were pretty painful but wanted to finish because it was in memory of Jerry.
I love this workout and would like to do it again when I can go 100%.
22:23 - I'm still horrible on the rower. Funny, I can advise others on rowing technique, but put me on that thing when I'm beat and my form goes to crap!!! Great group though and definitely proud to complete the wod in memory of Jerry. Good Endurance WOD.
Good work to the Fast Track class last night as well. We decided to get some rowing in as well instead of Death by 10m. It was a bit sketchy up in the garage and really dark out so, we'll hit that one at a later date. Don't think you guys got out of it!!
